STSMs

How to apply?

The Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM) are aimed at strengthening the existing network by allowing scientists to go to an institution or laboratory in another COST Country:

  • to foster collaboration,
  • to learn a new technique,
  • to take measurements using instruments and/or methods not available in their own institution/laboratory.

STSM Summary , minimum one week (5 working days), maximum 3 months, shall be made within the time frame of the Action.
 
Registration and Deadlines:

The applicant must use the on-line registration tool to register their request for an STSM.

Deadlines are:

October 15, 2011

for STSMs to start after December 1, 2011

March 31, 2012

for STSMs to start after July 1, 2012

September 30, 2012 - extended to October 31, 2012

for STSMs to start after January 1, 2013

March 31, 2013

for STSMs to start after July 1, 2013

September 30, 2013 - extended to October 31, 2013

for STSMs to start after January 1, 2014

March 31, 2014

for STSMs to start after July 1, 2014

September 30, 2014

for STSMs to start after Januay 1, 2015
